Route 111 in the 1960’s

This home once stood on Route 111 in Windham, across from Center School, near where Hardwood Road is today. Its amazing how many “old Windham” properties succumbed to the wrecking ball, after Interstate 93 was built in the 1960’s, transforming a “Rural Oasis” into something else; what exactly Windham has become, and where it is headed, is held within the individual perception of each Windham resident, and is very much up for debate.
